Haha, didnt notice you posted this cloud Got banned from a server but still have rcon? you can still rage! in the console type: rcon_address <server ip> and thats it, just carry on using rcon commands like normal and brag that they cant ban you no matter what they try :D EDIT: Also make sure you make your config.cfg read only and make an empty autoexec.cfg and make that read only too or you might screw over your own game

I actually host 2 cs servers myself, i know exactly the difference between root access and rcon, the servers im talking about have sv_cheats 1 set in their server.cfg so each time the server restarts that cvar is executed. Then i can just regain it, as long as they leave sv_cheats 1 on (which i have noticed a lot of servers reboot and it still has sv_cheats 1 on after raging/crashing) Also, it cant possibly be illegal, THEY turned the cvar on, valve put the abusive entities there, therefore im fully entitled to use whats in the game correct?

1) What if they cant access the server manually? 2) Full rcon :) 3) Do you have any proof if its illegal or not? thats what i'm after :/

1) Of course there would be raging involved constantly screwing up this persons server so they get pissed off to hell, but the money is just an added bonus 2) Yes master *bows* Hahahaha, no

Now, lets say theres a way to gain full access over a cs:s server using a few console commands and we were to bribe and admin to send money via paypal to let him have his server back, i'm guessing this is illegal or is it not since its only using the console commands that valve themselves put into the game? (note i havn't actually tried this, i just came up with the idea for the mygot community)
