For DJing use, I recommend VirtualDJ. It's simple, easy to use, and supports adding things later like timecode vinyls and external mixers. http://www.virtualdj.com/ Because you want to work with digital sound as well as midi cues (most likely) I recommend that for production purposes you use FLStudio. I just got my first job working as a steward at Zellers (similar chain to wal-mart but smaller and less gay). My job is to lay out stock for the night shifters, do carry outs and organize stock in the back room. I'm on my feet for 7 hours straight, and only get a 15 min and 30 min break, my feet are fucking killing me. Is this something that comes with being new to being on my feet so long, or should I invest in some REALLY comfy shoes? :confused: BTW - Steel toed shoes are mandatory in the back room

Lolz, I'm getting a Behringer mixer and it has better reviews than the Stantons. Stanton does seem to have fairly good turntables with plenty of followers, but their mixers have pretty shitty ratings.
