I don't know why they IP banned me. Some of their members were even thinking about making a fake celebrity account and joining in on the fun. One guy even called it the BEST. THREAD. EVER. and put a link to it in his sig. I think the admins were just jealous that I created a thread with over 150 replies in under 3 hours.

Basically here's the general rules to doing this techinique: 1) When you make an account, personalize the shit out of it. An avator with your person's face is a must. This makes it way funnier and believable. Also, a sig is great too. 2) Never pick someone who is dead. The reason why my thread went to shit is because people picked Hitler and John Candy. 3) Always be completely oblivious to what the non-celebrities are saying to you. Don't flame or troll anyone except the other celebrities. 4) Make a believable story. My stories almost always surround one person's problem. A popular one is to find someone who is a cocaine abuser and make a thread about someone catching him snorting. Then create accounts either supporting or flaming this guy. 5) Work fast. Usually threads like this get locked so it's a good idea to have three to four different browsers, one for each account. I started with Rick Moranis, Mel Gibson, and Sally Fields and had IE, FF, and Opera. 6) Have what you say already written out so that you can post within 15 to 30 seconds of them. That's about it. Use your imagination.

I'm a big fan of playing on forums and pretending to be different people. Tonight I decided to do a little known form of forum trolling known as the Celebrity Storytelling Troll. The basic idea is to create a bunch of celebrity name accounts on a popular forum and create a thread talking about their personal lives. For tonight's thread I decided to use Mel Gibson, Sally Fields, and my personal favorite, Rick Moranis. My story involves a domestic dispute between Mel Gibson and Sally Fields and the new lover, Rick Moranis. This is kinda like Who's Line is it Anyways, minus the brits.
