aha thanks for the help, but we've been sticking to all the main hostel sites for the last 2 months now.. we saw some for around 30 euros but lots of mixed reviews.. and we'd rather not stick in a 20 bed dorm, the 6 bed ones are much better. especially since we're going to be there for a week. but since my gf's dad wants to book us around a week, that means we have about 50 extra euros a day to spend on coffee shops. oh and i haven't smoked pot since 2 months before i left either.. ive seen only once since my time in europe someone rolling up a joint- that was some aussie in portugal, he didn't offer to smoke with me because he was rolling it for some chick. man whatever happened to the golden rule 'dicks before chicks'

Have like 2 weeks to kill after my gf and my eurail runs out before our flight back to canada.. and we're going to be in amsterdam. anddd apparently it's ridiculously hard to book hostels for there, we've been trying to book them for like may 7 and on and they're either super expensive or filled up.. we got rooms in the flying pig for 3 nigths before the 7th though.. supposed to be a good hostel. but yeah, does anyone live close to or in amsterdam that would be willing to let my gf and i stay for a little bit? cause that would be fricken sweet. and we can smoke all day okay.

hey sonnys ever kill 200+ salmons that weigh 20 kgs with only a small steel battering pole all in one day? that's how we 'cull' fish at the hatchery, we just drain the tank and jump in and bash their brains out then throw them out.

if i got a new one it would be another ipod classic.. i like it being more sturdy, and also, with the ipod touch i probably couldn't easily press buttons while it's in my pocket. when i walk around i keep it in my pocket and just push through it to hit next or pause or whatever (it goes through the case as well) plus it holds more :)

I work at a bloody fish hatchery. We have mostly salmon and sturgeon, but soon it will be all sturgeon and making caviar. My job is actually kind of fun sometimes, sometimes it's repetive, but sometimes I'm in waders in a tank with 15 kg salmon and grabbing them and throwing them around, or maneuvuring a huge 'dipnet' which needs two people, one holds the handle and the other uses a pulley , and we try catching some huge ass sturgeon. Then there's shitty days where I'm mostly scrubbing tanks and throwing feed.. or filling feeders. That sucks, and also the part where everyone bitches about each other behind each others backs, and they usually bitch about them to me. I usually just nod and laugh, got me a reputation of being a 'people's person' because I just secretly hate them I don't whine about them. But most of all, and this breaks my heart, is when I don't have the energy to do art.. or flash movies :( . I've worked there for a year and everyday after work I'm wiped by 11. My gf caught me at 11:30 playing zelda while sleeping with my eyes open. goddam. Im making a cup of coffee right now so I can start on a new flash movie. i hope it works. ahem - yeah, topic title: Where do you work - why does it suck
