With my 1+ years experience with processing, developing and shooting film and digital photography, I feel my criticism of this photo is significant. Your points are valid in every, and I agree with them fully. What I would like to add to the criticism of this photo is that the lighting is horrible, the failure to make the picture not seem as if it were staged, and not to mention the stupid face expressions and positioning of the humans. The school in which this photographer was educated on the study of photography is clearly not a very good school. This photo should be burned, as it is a disgrace to photographers world-wide.

Good hardware, but may I suggest that once you recieve your parts in the mail, throw them under cool water. This makes the last a lot longer without over-heating.
