I just tried it again, this time in-game and it still sounds the same, jarbled and everything. :( I'd really like to get this working because I have a bunch of merzbow I would like to use as sounds.

Ah, awesome- I tried that but it kinda makes the pitch lower of the whole thing, could you tell me how to fix this? or is it a result of it being encoded in 6000 Hz?

Well, it is working, but my sounds are a bunch of quiet garbled shit, even though I encoded them how the instructions told me too (8000 hz/mono/etc) I used it a few months ago and someone told me it was because of a steam update issue- is this still the case?
