Unassigned, the 3rd team. Some of you may know the command, but allow me to tell you some of the possibilites. THE COMMANDS: I prefer to keep this secret, but here it is. bind p "jointeam unassigned" bind o "jointeam red" bind i "jointeam blue" POSSIBILITIES ON FAST/FORCE RESPAWN SERVERS: (now fixed on the most part) * Unassigned can be joined and played. * Pyros cannot set you on fire. * Sentries do not shoot or spot you. * Tauntkills work on all objects. * During a stalemate, you are able to kill both teams without them having a way to fight back. * On CTF maps, both team's intelligence can be captured, and flood the server's top right indicators. * When Unassigned, you can join both teams without suiciding and being forced to respawn. This can be used on CP maps like Dustbowl during setup to extend setup time and keep BLU trapped in spawn. POSSIBILITIES ON REGULAR SERVERS * Rockets (be it from the Soldier or the Engineer's sentry), and pipebombs can kill teammates when unassigned is joined on time. (Usually if they have low health or if you fire a critical.) * You can escape from certain death in many situations (pyro afterburn, low health firefighting, etc.) * Joining Unassigned when dead makes you miss all those terrible deathcams of the sniper standing there looking into his scope. (A useless feature, I know.) * Whilist carrying the intelligence, you can join unassigned whilist caring it. This allows you to carry the intelligence while in spectator mode. Some of these possibilites may have been patched, but I'd still post them here nonetheless. Any other contributions to this list may be added in below posts.
