I'm surprised noone has addressed the old paradox: If a god created the universe, what created god? Lately, I don't know what I am. I definately don't believe in God in the Christian, or any monotheistic sense. It's hard for me to buy into most of the things in religious texts. I don't believe God was the father of Jesus Christ, I don't believe that he proactively created the entire universe in a matter of a week, and I don't believe anything, or anyone, can be conscious of every thought, every action, every thing at once. I'd consider myself spiritual I guess. I think certain energies govern certain things, and a god can be a source of strength, not just a supernatural power. It's hard to explain. I gotta go, and the forums suck, but I'll be back to continue later.
