I got the Death discography a few days ago. Trying to go through it album by album and i'm on Leprosy at the moment. CoB annoys the fuck out of me and I have a load of Shadows stuff already, but I'll look into the rest.

Preferably melodic death. Technical DM tends to piss me off, a lot of what i've heard feels technical for the sake of being technical. Stuff like Morbid Angel is okay, but as far as i'm concerned oldschool DM can't compare to the melodic stuff.

Oh man.... there is so much wrong about it, seriously.

Metallica, simply because of Ride the Lightning and Disposable Heroes, but they both suck anyway.

So i'm looking for some new music to download and would appreciate some educated opinions. My taste tends to hang around the following: Opeth Dark Tranquillity Death Cynic The Ocean Arsis' older material
