hey, back again with more stupid questions... are any of you familiar with John The Ripper, or Hydra 5.4 i can't seem to find any documentation on how to run these things any help? when i open the executable, a dos window flashes and then goes away i am running windows xp sp2, not linux, vista, or mac os x

i'm probably going to get mucho flame for this (+1 Espanol Point) but i'm starting off programming and i need to know.. well not really need but still what are good basic programs to start with? yes, i'm a noob, but we all gotta start somewhere? helpful replys kthnx? :wow:
