  1. I honestly figured he spelled it that way on purpose for some unknown reason...lol.
  2. did you see the amound of condensation (frost) on the CPU block and retaining pins? cool OC, but that system's shot as soon as anything gets warm enough to melt some of that condensation :(
  3. Doitch...don't make me run a search for Google/yahoo holdings in China to prove they don't HAVE any "chinese servers" to display your bullshit and ignorance again, dude...just admit to the fact that you're lying through your teeth again, and save me the 15 minutes research it'd take to bury you this time around :FIREdevil

way to wake up a week dead thread, dude...Hitler was banned like 10 days ago, and ya'll STILL keep adding replies here...rofl.
  5. DHCP always assigns ISP assigned IPs, dude..."DHCP reconnect assignment" is a configuration for highly dynamic systems...like dialups, and other "connect on demand" providers...cable and most DSL services are "always on" connections, so DHCP assign on reconnect wouldn't work for semi-static IP or dynamic IP for this type of connection, since it would require either an automatic remote disconnect/reconnect command from each DHCP server in the network to all clients served by it AND a wiping of the routing tables before any of the clients reconnected or it would require a complete resetting of the network at a regular interval, including all modems... either way, it's not possible to do in a large provider like Cox, Comcast, or the other major DSL/cable ISPs due to the regular downtime it would require (can you imagine how much people would bitch if whole sections lost their connection for 10+ minutes at a time at regular intervals, aborting any web reliant programs, download, uploads, and such going on at the time, on top of the unschedueled outages, no matter WHEN they schedueled them?) Therefor, they go for a different style of resetting, which basically loops the DHCP server tables...so that the router you are connected to off your cable trunk line gets a copy of the new IPs to associate with the old MAC address BEFORE they wipe the "current" list in a semi-static setup..this way the table reset and reassignment of addies takes less than a second, usually, and is done by cascading assignments by router connection, instead of directly through the DHCP server of the ISP... However, the DHCP server still detects new connections from equipment not in its routing tables (by MAC address) and assigns new IP to new connections in the standard manner. At least this is how Cisco trains the CCNA/CCNP certified folks who do all the setup for most ISPs to set it up...lol.
  6. Depends on the ISP dumb nigger...most cable providers, all T-1 providers do "semi-static" or static IP assignment...which means that if it's not completely static, it's because THEY reset their IPs with an automated system (not DHCP reconnect assignment) every <X> days/hours/minutes/weeks/whatever. Resetting your cable modem will not change your IP with cable or T-1 unless you leave it disconnected long enough for the system to conclude you're no longer a customer, and reassign your IP to the "pool". This is because of the way cable works, and the RAS tables used by the local router to direct traffic your way. Alternately, since cable internet works pretty much like a public network with zero sharing, you can prompt an IP change by switching the network cards around in computers in your house...if you're not running through a router, anyhow, since addresing schemes at local level with cable are done by matching MAC addy to IP addy in the trunk routing tables, and DHCP is done further up the line. And wafflefaggot...depends on the version of sp0rkeh on what you get. 1.5 IS a decent tool for what you were wanting to do. What you found on google there was reports from idiots who went begging the myg0t private hack back in 1.3/1.4 CS, and were linked to 2.1 sp0rkeh, which was basically a lesson to n00bs on how dangerous it can be to download unknown files and run them, in an attempt to run undetectable cheats in a game...however, if you want to start "hacking", I'd STRONGLY suggest you start looking into how networks and computers function, since what you seem to be looking for is an IP sniffer, not a "generator".

Hey Xeno...just as an FYI...got exactly the mobo I was expecting...the MSI KT6 Delta LSR...absolutely no issues with install, SATA support (2 drives), RAID 0 and 1, 8USB (6 on board rear, two "jacked" fronts)...you never DID get back to me with another $80 mobo with 6 on board USB, capacity for two more, RAID 0 and 1 support and SATA support...plus the board you referred to as "mid range" in quality is rated higher on benchmarks than all but thre ASUS 32 bit AMD supporting single proc motherboards...all of which cost close to twice as much...and buyer's guides are showing higher satisfaction on the MSI than the comperable ASUS models.... Also...the CPU installed fine..no "clocking" issues in the elast...currently running at 215 MHz base frequency (430 FSB with the DDR3200 in it also slightly overclocked), multiplier at 11, for a total speed of 2365MHz, and I haven't even had to muck with voltage values yet...it's outperforming a stock 3200 already with ZERO heat issues, even during benchmark testing (higest proc temp measured was 67 degrees celcius, after a sustained 5 minutes at 100% proc useage...it's rated for operating safely up to 72C, stock). Watercooling hasn't even been nesseccary yet (though I'll still need it when I get around to overclocking the system further, after the graphics card arrives). NOW you want to try and tell me I "didn't know shit about computers" when choosing my parts for cost AND effectiveness?
  10. http://www.reuters.com/newsArticle.jhtml?type=domesticNews&storyID=4049413 nuff said? National news now stating outright that backtrace shows the cow was originally from CAN (Alberta, specifically).

which would bring the grand total of the times you've been laid to....two. Right, eth0? ROFL...it was too damned easy to pass it up, man...j/k.
  12. LOL User...I'm down on Whidbey about three times a month, but I've never been to Bremerton. Whyn't you come up to Hellingdam, instead? At least then, instead of underage military daughters and ugly ass white trash Navy wives, we can check out some college poon.
  13. No kidding, Jedi...I've been trying to tell them that it's big local news, since the cow that had it was only about 150 miles from my house...lol. Snakeyes...just where does DC border with Penn? I only saw Maryland and Virginia on that map :)
  14. uhh...wasn't "some farmers in washington"...it was the guy who owned the diseased cow who turned over the bill of sale...which showed the diseased cow was purchased from a WA livestock auction company...which, in turn provided paperwork showing that the diseased animal was purchased from a CANADIAN livestock auctioning company. The canuck company has been being hairy about releasing "official" documents, but the identification on the animal shows that it's first tagging was done by the same CANADIAN company that sold the cow that started the B.C. scare last summer. The only reason that there's any "official" question is it is vaguely possible this cow was born somewhere besides canada, and wasn't first tagged until it was in the possession of the canadian company in a lot to be sold in the US...and we WON'T know for certain until that company starts cooperating...which they won't, unless ordered by Canadian courts (they've officially said so, according to local news an hour ago). However, to anyone with any deductive reasoning ability at all, the facts show: Previously, the only cases of bovine anthrax outside of a lab in North America were the ones in CAN this past summer, and this one; the same company that sold the one all the CAN cases traced to last summer *at least* owned this one at the time of first tagging, and owned it at the time of sale to a US auction company; the company that owned both of these cattle is now refusing to release tracking information related to the origin of this animal, and pattern of sales before it was sold on this side of the border to US authorities without direct order of a Canadian court. It looks like a deliberate case of stonewalling to me...and to most Yanks who are paying any attention to the case. On the offside, the USDA and CDC (why the fuck they are involved is anyone's guess) are also investigating a US cattle feed company as a possible infection source in both cases at this point...but if it's the feed company, why would there only have been these two cases from the same canuck livestock wholesaler/auction company? If it's in the feed, you'd think there would have been more cases, and there'd be less in common geographically, and chain-of-possession-wise.
  15. don't think so...I'm pretty sure the whole District of Columbia is metropolitan/suburbs...after all, it IS smaller in land mass than NYC proper...I recall recently seeing a show on Discovery or THC saying that they couldn't find 40 contiguous acres that weren't zoned residential or business development in the whole of D.C. in order to build a new war memorial. I could be wrong, and they *might* have some rural area in the western side of the district..but that show left me with the distinct impression that the whole district is "developed land"...not all urban...but all urban, government buildings, suburban residential, suburban business, industrial, and federal park land. It takes more than 40 acres to have even a tiny ass cattle ranch...if they couldn't find 40 contiguous acres to build another goddamned monument, I'm betting that it wasn't because some mythical rancher was unwilling to part with 40 acres of land for it <grin>
  16. lol...my bad :)
  17. ftp...can't link to it, mate...lol
  18. Snakeyes...since when does the District of Columbia have ANY rural industry in it? To the best of my knowledge, DC is all metropolitan, no rural land in it at all...thus no stockyards or beef ranches :) And yes, the rancher here in WA reported that the cow affected by the disease was purchased at auction...tracing the lots traces the diseased cow to a B.C. birth and cross-border auctions. I don't know why the news services are being spooky about announcing this a "definate information" nationally and internationally, and are hedging the reports with statements like "there is no conclusive proof this cow was infected by contact with the cattle found to be infected with bovine anthrax this past summer in British Columbia" (Fox news at 9 last night) when local news reports concerning the state are stating such things as "backtracing through auction records shows that the diseased animal was born near the Canadian outbreak of mad cow disease, and was sold as part of an auction lot to an American livestock auction company in August." (Channel 13 local news talk show this morning)...but I'm betting there are political reasons behind it.
  19. ahhchuu...if your mobo is equipped with a BIOS version that allows you to directly mess with the graphics card voltages and multipliers thru bios, you just take it off "auto" and start pushing both values higher. MSI boards tend to have this ability...I know mine does (KT6Delta) If you go into BIOS, and can't find anything that allows you to tinker with voltage, frequency, and multiplier on the card (plus apature, burst, and a few other values), then you can always do a bit of hardwire tinkering...boost voltage a hair, and start looking at modding forums for instructions regarding your particular card.
  20. Why? Because 20 years ago he was pissed off at the same country we were? If that were the case, we'd have to respect the Chinese from about 1945 until the collapse of the Soviet Union...they harrassed the russkies more than we EVER did...but we were fighting chinese almost as much as koreans during the korean conflict, and they supplied arms and training all through 'Nam to the VC and NVA...not to mention their backing of the Khemer Rouge(sp?) and several other "revolutions" in the far east. Oh...and for the French supporters mentioning their aid to us during our revolution...you ARE aware they did it because they were at war with England themselves at the time (over colonial properties, I believe), and aiding us in keeping another front open made it easier for them to win in other arenas? (Also, at the time, the "first world" was France, England, Spain, Portugal, and the Dutch empire...we ARE talking about the days when whoever had the most boats was the richest and most "civilized", after all)...and on top of that, we ran the French off handily, all by ourselves, not even 50 years later (when we were STILL a second-class country, still often referred to as "the American colonies" in Europe) while simultaneously having a war with the Spanish colonists, warring with four different major Amerind tribes, AND expanding our western boundaries (it was called "the French and Indian War", for those of you who don't know)...seems once we got the frogs off their boats, they were absolutely worthless as soldiers, even then.

someone gave him sp0rkeh? or what?
  23. Well...when we gave Saddam the bombs and shit, he was using them on Iran. How could we know he was going to do the "drop two, store one" routine, then turn around and attack an allied country? Ok, in retrospect, it was stupid...but it made sense at the time...lol.
  24. Panis...just because I was speaking greek as far as you're concerned doesn't mean you need to be a little girl about it. Let Xodus answer...lol Or someone else who's messed with it, and knows...this ain't the sort of question you can call AMD with, after all. Be pretty dumbass of them to say "yeah, you can buy the $150 cheaper chip, make two changes in your BIOS, and have the equivalent of our top end chip, and it'll run fine, just voids the warranty", wouldn't it?
  25. 3 80 MM intake fans (two front case, one side case), 1 80mm exhaust case fan (rear), 2 120mm PSU exhaust fans (rear and top), currently stock AMD2800 heatsink/fan... 28CFM through HS from proc fan...airflow through case 112CFM overpressured, current at rest temp 47 deg C, peak temp under 5 minutes stress useage (benchmark testing) 67 deg C AMD rated "max die temp" 85 deg C seem aspirated enough? I don't want to burn the chip, but I do want to push to a 400MHz fsb...not too worried about multiplier...honestly, I'd be happy to accept 10.5 multiplier, which would leave me with same "absolute" rating, but faster buss. Ideally, I'd like to go 400MHz with 11.5 multiplier (2.3 gig actual "absolute" speed), which is a hair over stock 3200 specs.
