A scripting language isn't named a "scripting language" because it's a programming language. Now, you obviously need to learn something about programming to understand that HTML and BBcode are NOT programming languages. You're supposed to open Command Prompt and type ipconfig, windows makes the window close as soon as the prog has finished running. Anyway, ipconfig only shows your network ip if you're on a network, so it's useless.

Ever heard of J++? You can compile to an executable format, there's a LOT more you can do. Also, there's Java3D (DirectX), an openGL alternative to that too. You can do a lot more than applets and cell phone games. Btw, dark_urza why do you post your problems on here? Why not go to a programming site and post there? :shrug:
