I agree. Anonymity on the Internet does bring out the worst in people because they know their identity is safe (minus IP address'). You cannot expect everything to be perfect on an online forum. After all, there are people who act like juveniles and with a lower bar of maturity that frequent these places. Dont like myg0t? Then leave. Its a simple and plain solution that you can follow. There is no way you can affect the outcome of what will happens on these forums; that is for the moderators and the administrators to decide.
