July 18, 200519 yr i read on their forums some time ago that they kept denying they were hacked. they said their server had a power outage or some sort of crap and it reverted to their backup. u can simple ask this one question. Why would your back up have a thread name "we got WTFOWNED" or whatever the thread name was and y the front page had a gay sign on it... i am sure they wont be able to come up with a realistic excuse

July 18, 200519 yr I would say that they are losing credibility over this, but Counter-Hack has NEVER been creditable. Just hang in CH's IRC channel for a day or two and you will see staff and site members doing all kinds of illegal things. Things like asking for stolen CDkeys, help with getting pirated software to work, where to download pirated software, and other things. Hardly legal things. I'd say that UnitedAdmins has been the only legit and creditable anticheating community and probably the only sucessful one. Mainly because they are made up of server admins who were looking for solutions to the cheating problems and developed them. Though I'm no fan of UA, they atleast have done things right. They have built a huge community of knowledgable admins and coders and have been sucessful, CH has not. Even the orginal staff of CH has all but left, now its run by a few kids who are not very bright for obvious reasons.

July 18, 200519 yr There doin a lot of shit lately. Maybe trying to not suck....who knows. Right now the biggest thing is VAC2.....so that kinda puts CH and the lot on the back burner. Im not sure what it is they actually DO now......????? I dunno but their website is lacking in "up to date hacking methods" especially for D2. Sure the game sucks but CH doesn't seem to be talking about any new games anywase..
