Posted July 25, 200519 yr I've been an avid PSP user for a while and I think I've used it to the best of my ability. I've used Photoshop before and I didn't have much patience with it because it kinda seemed cluttered to me compared to PSP. After seeing how Photoshop is 20x better through all the art pieces I've seen, I'm only drawing myself back by not adapting to it. My question is, should I get 7.0, 8.0, or CS2? Should I start with one of the earlier ones to get a feel for it? Maybe one of those is more user friendly? I don't know much about masking and shit but I know about layers and such so any websites besides (good-tutorials?) you could reccomend off the top of your head would be appreciated. P.S. - I know there's a tutorial list at the top of this thread but there's hundreds in there and I'm looking for specifics. I also realize someone made a thread like this just before but my needs are a little different. Thanks.
July 25, 200519 yr Whatever you can afford. I'd go with CS or CS2. There's no advantages to buying previous versions because it's basically the same thing, with less stuff. If you want to know how to do something specific post it and someone might help you.

July 25, 200519 yr Author I told off some g0t one day so one of them changed my title out of frustration or boredom.
