(never used ebay) You put in your maximum bid so I put 5 in and it was at 1 so it moves up to 1.25, say someone bids 3.50 it moves upto 3.75 and someone put 4.80 it shows then that the highest bid was 5 so they have to bid 5.50 or 6 i can't remember which to up the bid.
