August 3, 200519 yr doesnt even compare to a jewel concert rifk irl mushroomhead are good, some of their songs totaly rock but alot of them suck ass.

August 9, 200519 yr Author obsession']dope fucking rocks homo 3 of the repeated choruses of songs. 1) die motherfucker die motherfucker die......repeat endlessly. 2)kill the fucking enemy.....repeat endlessly. 3)fuck the police.....repeat endlessly. and they played that "you spin me right round" song. and granted the guitarists from mushroomhead aren't good but dope was just horrible. fake anger used to gain an audience is just annoying.
August 9, 200519 yr i saw both mushroomhead and dope back when i liked nu metal, they were alrite, looking back i realize how bad they are, bands like necrophagist, decapitated, suffocation, aborted, vader, nile, behemoth, morbid angel ect... are the metal im mostly focused in, nu metal doesnt appeal to me, with its cheap gimmicks, teenage angst vocals, tuned down shitty power chords, non existent bass, and simple drum beats. i like my music with talent and necrophagist is the most talented band out there. just my opinion
August 9, 200519 yr Author necrophagist good guitar. then suckage. if you're just looking for heavy metal go for meshuggah. and comparing mushroomhead to stuff like mudvayne and ill nino is just retarded. guitar=nu metal. the keyboard and vocals are pretty far from that.
August 9, 200519 yr well, if necrophagist doesnt fit you, or death metal for that, check out yngwie malmsteen, steve vai, joe satriani, buckethead, rusty cooley, ect... all amazing guitar prodigees and i would consider mushroomhead nu metal, the masks are kinda boring and so is the blending of rap, sounds like their music is made for headbangers ball or mtv2 hard rock, i used to be into nu metal, slipknot, korn, tool, soad, disturbed, etc... but then i realized there was much more talent shit out ther, i went to ozzfest 2 weeks ago and half the bands seemed like mtv mallcore bands, with the exception of mastadon, soilwork, shadows fall, black dahlia murder,maiden, and sabbath, which was an awesome show, i just want more talent is my music
August 9, 200519 yr Author check out some meshuggah songs. hear mushroomhead songs "nowhere to go" "never let it go" and "bwomp" to get a feel for the slightly less nu metal type of mushroomhead. i see where you're coming from and i know that mushroomhead has bad guitarists but the vocals appeal to me.
August 9, 200519 yr i love meshuggah, i bought catch 33 a few months ago and i think its a great concept albumn, ive heard bwomp but it just doesnt appeal to me , i can gett into it, i dont know, i like heavier sounding stuff usually, without the exception of melodic metal, but i just like alot of different sounding music
