I doubt most of you know me...I used to be a regular around here called t0k1. Apc might remember me, as I somewhat remember him.

Anyway, the subject of the post is an arcade game called Polybius that was released around 1981. Supposedly the game was a governmental experiment on citizens of select locations of Portland, Oregon. Only people didn't know it was a governmental experiment, and still don't. People who played the abstract puzzle mind game reportedly had horrific nightmares and memory loss, and to kind of cap it, one owner of a game cabinet said men in black coats would periodically come extract data from the machines, not coins. I think that last part is bullshit.

A ROM is said to exist, but no one knows where it is or who has it. Also, the company who made the game, Sinnesloschen (German for sense-deleting), is not said to make any other games, and quite frankly, no one knew or heard anything else about them after this. All anyone seems to be able to produce is a title screen, but those can be photoshopped easily.

I guess the main reason I'm telling you this is because I think that if I discover enough information that I may be throwing off the cover on some kind of gigantic governmental experiment here. You guys may know some hot ROM areas or produce them yourself. Since most of everyone here hates the U.S. government anyway, I don't see why you wouldn't want to be able to strike a blow to them yourself. Good hunting.

Later

You were a regular around the myg0t forum, not here dumbfuck.

not like theres much of a difference anyway

that's pretty fucked up but I really doubt it's true.
