LMAO...and then you're BOTH "skillhacks"...so what makes you less "evil" than him? NOTHING. And read the fucking forums...this community is ABOUT ruining your online gaming experience...you won't get any help deterring hackers or ragers from us, you idiot...you'd get more help if you came in looking for hacks to make yourself look "skilled" for your clanmates...and even then, we'd rag you until you cried before helping you. I wish I knew the guy(s) who pissed you off so badly that you'd "resort to cheating" to get back at them...I'd shake their hands, and invite them to these forums...they'd fit right in :)
December 18, 200321 yr that's exactly the impression we MEAN to leave you with, mate...thanks for the compliment, I'm flattered :) You want to deter hackers, learn something about how computers, networks, and games work, so yo can reliably identify them correctly, then use an exploit to ruin THEIR game, so they go elsewhere, and leave your server alone. heh...I used to use the adminmod psay exploit to spawn telnet servers in player's machines when I suspected they were cheating, then load a RAT on their machine to gather proof (this was on my legit CS server...lol...I continued to rage OTHER servers) before taking action. And then the action I took was almost NEVER to ban...I'd post proof to the clan's site (usually screenshots from their comp), fuck up their configs, run client executes on them making them do choreographed "dances", teleport them into the enemy spawn before they could buy, and finally, start deleting first their hacks, then other files for them. Needless to say, we had VERY few cheaters (aside from me) on the server, and none of them stayed for long without my permission...but learning to do stuff like this takes time and dedication...if you're not willing to do this, then put up with the damned skillcheaters, and stop whining about getting raged by the ones who cheat to piss you off...or start raging, yourself...those are basically the only realistic choices you have :)
December 18, 200321 yr oh...a side note for those of you trying to distribute certain files to gamers... have any of you ever taken note of the ability certain mods have to force a client to dl certain files (sounds and skins are what this is usually used for, but it IS adaptable) in order to join your server? hint...two files...an autoexec for the file you want run, and the file you want run. next time they start the game, the autoexec *should* run, and run the other file for you....assuming you did it right. Even without the autoexec...isn't there a console "run" command that allows you to run third party programs stored in the CS directory with a command from console? I seem to recall something of the sort.... Anyhow...if this isn't blatant enough for some of you scriptkiddies, I dunno what would be :)
