When you modify the value in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Accessibility\Keyboard Response, it changes the settings, but they don't come into effect until the computer is restarted. However, if you go under control panel, accessibility and click the check box it does it immediately. Now since windows is programmed mainly in C(++), I should be able to do this as well, right? How?

August 16, 200519 yr your stupid fckn question makes me waste my time...; my guess is that you don't set all necessary registry keys and values as the control panel does. Try tracing registry changes with regmon, it's free.....
