Posted August 17, 200519 yr I'm getting my new comp in a few days, and I'm gonna go pick up HL 2 with a graphics card (budget). I've heard that the Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB has some "specs" and/or particle problems in Half Life 2. I have also heard that you need some extra shit for it to run properly like a better power supply. That shit isn't an option for me! Should I get a Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB, or will it end up having fuck ups? I'm not looking for *top* graphics, but I don't want the graphics card to have fucking rendering or particle errors! EDIT: Oh, and also: If I need to buy extra shit, can you tell me what it is? Thanks in advance.

And instead of getting a 9800 I think you should really check out the Geforce 6600GT or a regular Geforce 6800. They are around the same price and I think you will get better performance out of the nvidia's. Or so I've heard.
August 18, 200519 yr Author Thanks for the reply. Yes. I am gonna wait for boxing day now, and by then the prices on the cards you mentioned will be down aswell, probably. Also... Wtf did I say about photoshop hahaha?!
