August 18, 200519 yr K, so i was banned form VAC a while ago for hacking (I was in the middle of a rage too :(). Anyway, yeah I was using GDCS 1.3, which is a good hack. Now, I have decided after about 2 weeks of banishment to start up hacking again. I have some quick questions about VAC and how I can prevent any future problems (planning on getting a new steam account) 1) Do you get scanned if you play on a non secure server (aka, if i only play on non secure ones can i be banned?) 2) How long does it usually take to get banned? 3) What are some good VAC Proof hacks, I'm using GDCS 1.4 as of now. Edit: 4) I also have a SD Card slot on my computer that I can open the files on it through My Computer. Do you think it would be better for me to put my hacks on my SD Card and then open them up before I go onto a insecure server, then play. After I'm done just take out the card.
August 18, 200519 yr all servers are started with vac enabled by default now. so be carefull. i got banned by VAC when i joined a friends server a long time ago with hacks. (before CS source was out) the DUMBASS fucking enabled VAC before he started the server... and we were going to play on LAN!!!!!

August 18, 200519 yr Just set the filters to only show insecure servers. Easy. No you can't be banned on insecures. You can be detected by VAC weeks before being banned. Just depends when they update their banlist. GDC 1.4
