How the fuck do you... whatever them, use them, get them, whatever. I'm completely fucking clueless.

On the 5th Fret, put your finger on the string, over the steel part, where you can't press down, don't press all the way, just lightly put your finger on it and pick it. You can use harmonics on any other fret though, but it must be done differently. You have to, again lightly touch the string, do not press, and pick the string and have a little bit of your picking thumb hit the string as well, If you hit it as hard as normal, it won't work. Pick the string softly, let a small prat of your thumb gently hit the string when you pick. Have anymore questions, or don't understand what I've told you, then repost. K thanks. :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

Listen to 94 Hours by As I Lay Dying. They use the 5th string harmonic in that song a bunch of times, if you want some kind of idea for how to use them.

Thanks alot. 12th fret is easier i think to squeeze harmonics out of, i got it now.

First post after a long ban

Do harmonics by hitting the note with the pick, and 12 frets up hit the part of the string with the fleshy part of your thumb, best done with a compressor and good distorstion
