I've seen a few people using their stereo to play music from their comp.. how the hell do you do that ? im shit at electronics

Get a Stereo jack to RCA cable.

 

That'll handle the output from your pc (which is a stereo jack) to the input on the back of your stereo (should be RCA, the red and white cables). You can plug the output into where you'd normally plug your speakers and the rca into any unused input on the back of your stereo system, but I use 'phono'.

 

Pretty basic, should be easy for you to figure out.

i was going off the 90% majority of sound card outputs.
