August 23, 200519 yr Techno is better, specifically a subgenre called Schranz. Usually Techno has more bass in it than Trance and has a grungy industrial feel to it. Sadly, most of the U.S. regards all other forms of electronic music ( Anything made by electronic means like synthesizers or drum machines. Hip Hop is included. ) other than Hip Hop as being "gay," even though both of them are closely related ( Disco anyone? ). If you have the money, Mexico, Brazil, and Europe are the best places to spin Techno.

August 23, 200519 yr it's all the same crap, theyre all variants of each other as trance was only introduced in early 95' and techno was being played more than a decade ago. Trance just took a huge spin in europe because it was totally new to them and they bought into and creating the worst kind of music known to mankind by DJ's like Sammy, Darude, Scooter and others who sold out.
