In NZ we have two types of poisonous spider. One is rare and lives near beaches far from me, and the other is common and lives off other spiders. So, if you have lots of spiders in your house, the poisonous ones are more likely to hang around. If you have none, they will leave looking for food elsewhere. White tail spider.

OH shit dude, that's why I stay from places like those, I got arachnophobia like a flaming homosexual has to a female organ. Where I live in the U.S. there ain't too many poisonous things, but there's these fuckers called House Recluse or Recluse Spiders that cause necrosis when they bite, and deadly if not checked out. I ran up on one in a bush one day and my phobia came back 10x harder than ever when that bastard jumped out and pounced his 4 front legs in the air.
