Posted August 27, 200519 yr Not to seem like a thread whore but I really need help.. my PC fan goes on alot and I was wondering if anyone knows the name of a PC tempature monitor that goes like in the taskbar.. I cant seem to find anything thats free so any help or info would be appreciated

August 28, 200519 yr Asus makes one for thier motherboards called ASUS PC PROBE. Off ASUS's site, or just google it. Doubt it works with other motherboards though. Dunno about any others that work well, as it's only one I've ever used.
August 29, 200519 yr theres many programs that can read the temperature if your motherboard supports it, you can get it from the manufacturer of your motherboard website, or get a 3rd party program like speedfan etc. (i use speedfan)
