Posted August 30, 200519 yr hello a long time ago, i have made a wallhack for cs:s, cause i would play like those french cheaters i was used to play with. it was very easy and vac2proof with hammer editor, i have found the texture (or skin ?, i dont have the word in english) of the great wooden door in the map DUST. then, i have replace this file with a 'glass' file (the same used in cs_office map) maybe it was useless, but i also replace VMT file and i edit it to replace path and texture name. then, when i played, i could see thru those great wooden doors. i have replaced a lot of textures (great wooden doors in cbble map, walls in Dust2 tunnel, ...) and it was fun, but strange. I'have detected a lot of cheaters, i could see they were aimed at me thru wall. I didnt take care of them, cause i wouldnt de detected as a cheater. 2 days later, i deleted those files, cause cheating is boring, and i was better without :). If you want to try this technic to do a vac2proof WallHack, try, it is easy i'm sorry, my english suxx, if you dont understand me call 555-fr3nch-l4m3r5 :boink:

It will read a .BSP map file and it will give you a .VMF map file. The BSP is like an EXE (you cant open it and edit it) The VMF is like a C++ source (you can open it with Hammer or edit it with Notepad if you're a big brain :) ) Now open the VMF with Hammer editor. you have your map on the screen. (for exemple : de_dust) Yoy may not know where you are on the map, cause there is a lot of objects used for lights, sounds and FPS optimization. Visit the map, and try to find the big wooden door. You cant find the wooden texture like this http://img203.imageshack.us/img203/6332/image20hx.jpg now, take some other textures name, or quit hammer without saving All textures name are not absolute, but relative from the MATERIALS folder Now with a software called VTFEXPLORER (better than GCFSCAPE) you will browse archived files of the games. The glass file i use i in CSTRIKESHARED.GCF/cstrike/Materials/glass Extract both .VMT and .VTF files http://img297.imageshack.us/img297/6691/image17mu.jpg Now, find the directory location of the texture you want to replace (in the GCF archive file) Use VTF explorer and find it. the dust wooden door is in CSTRIKESHARED.GCF/materials/de_dust/door011.VTF remeber the path in red and go to your normal directory c:\ ..... September 1, 200519 yr um i cant seem to find the .bsp files for default maps (like dust aztec) i could only find .bsp files for custom maps i downloaded HOLY SHIT, so if i get all these glass walls and boxes, and play in cal and record demo, even if the admins view my demo they wont know if i use glass walls/boxes? (since they didnt do all these steps)
September 1, 200519 yr ok one more thing, i found the .bsp for the map "breakfloor" and made vmf and opened and found the texture i want, it says "concrete/concreteceiling" but i cant seem to find it in the vtfexploerer? why is that?

You all know that you can change stuff in counterstrike source like models, sounds and more. This can be used to lighten up your gameplay but some users can use this to modify the game so that it will give them a benefit. What i am about going to show you is how easy you can cheat in cs source without even installing a hax. This cheat is all about wallhaxing. Wallhaxing means that you can look through walls and see other players so you can spot them before they spot you. This is cheating and is very nasty. Well in Source as i ready explained you can modify stuff and in this case i am talking in particular about editing textures. Textures are like wallpapers in maps which shows you what a door looks like or a wall etc. In CS:Source you have the ability to create transparency textures. with the halflife 2 editor. This information is saved away as a .vmt file. This file can be placed in the cstrike/materials/mapnamefolder. For example cstrike/materials/de_dust You have to know the correct names for the textures but a beginner mapper can easly spot those names out. If you are still with me now you know where i am going to with this story. You can if you want create for every map, transparant textures and place them in the correct materials/mapnamefolder location. That way you can cheat like a mf. Valve can create a cvar for example : sv_lockclientcontent with values 0 or 1 What is the basic idea of this cvar you think, well since steam was introduced we do not work anymore with a open folder structure but we use .gcf files which are packed and can only be read out. So basically every steam player if it is hl2 or cs:source and even good old cs 1.6 has a default .gfc file with all the things needed to play the game. Now if you can force as a server operator by a server command, users to use the .gcf file only you can skip all custom stuff from clients. What kind of benefits has this : - Everyone must play with the same models,textures sounds etc - Clients are not forced to deleted custom stuff since the client can be forced to read only out of the .gcf files - No need to tell your clients what to do - Wars can be much more cheat free. Think of modified sounds, textures,models etc I believe, no i strongly believe that this option can be a vital option for server administrators to finaly ban custom files without all the problems and issues normaly goes on. I have thought a while about this wether or not to post this stuff but this has to be brought out into the public. Too many people are using this texture change now and this must be stopped immediately."

They removed Skins and scripts are VAC2bannable from the VAC2 FAQ. If you can change the material from brick to glass then in theory couldn't you change the material from brick to water? Then you could jsut walk through walls.

No you couldnt the server has the map so the server will still see the wall as brick its lieks when you chage the door it does the same damage even though its through glass and not wood on your client but the server holds alll the infomation on the textures.
