Posted August 31, 200519 yr my comp. amd 64 3500+ gig of ram 112 gb hard drive radeon X800 with 256 mem. i can't get good fromes in cs:s. wtf is going on. with shit like that i would expect 40 frames with settings on high.
August 31, 200519 yr the problem i had was that my ram was pc2100 and not 3200. after i upgraded it i saw a huge boost. check and see what speed yours is. otherwise check your drivers. i remember reading that ati was picky with drivers and hl2.

Umm, you should be seeing way higher than 40fps on high settings with that rig. But, might just be some shitty setting on your game? Check your "fps_max" setting I think it is.
