September 4, 200519 yr You know that Resident Evil when you're stuck inside the mansion? It's the first RE gamecube redid. I've never played a RE game before that and didn't know what to expect. Walking down the halls in almost utter silence, and out of nowhere "SMASH SMASH GROWL BARK BARK" and these fucking dogs start chasing you down a hall.  After that I got off for about an hour before I had a fucking seizure. I got back on and went in that room with the bathtub. I drained it and sure enough "RAAAAAAW". Some fucking zombie jumps out and screams... loud. This was when I was about 12 (or 11). Not necessarily creepy or scary. Just flat out fucking startling.

September 4, 200519 yr In Corridor 7 (a really weird FPS for those who arn't familiar with it), I used to run screaming to my mom because there was this really scary face that would pop up very quickly at random intervals. I would be so concentrated on the game, that when it popped up, I would nearly shit myself. It made a loud noise too. Eventually my parents banned me from the game becuase they feared permenant psycological damage. This was a really long time ago. Corridor 7 came on a 10-floppy set! It still is a great game though. its a shame that I can't run it on Linux...

September 4, 200519 yr Friday the 13th for Nintendo. I first played it when I was in 5th grade. You'd be doing your thing, and that son of a bitch would just keep coming back stronger everytime you kicked his ass. Until I actually beat it I thought he couldn't die. :drama:   As for just flat out WHAT THE FUCK scarey... What was that GameCube game, where you'd be playing and all of the sudden the winME blue screen of death would pop up, and your charactor gets crazier and crazier?  Man that game is WEIRD.
September 4, 200519 yr The only time a game ever scared me was in hl1 when you're in the offices and you're in that room that's flooded and has the electricity you have to turn off in order to get to this vent. In the vent is this headcrab and you can't really see it and that damn thing jumped me and scared me.
