September 10, 200519 yr Your router assigned IP-address doesn't matter if you're external IP address is banned from a site (packets are delivered behind a router based on MAC address). Requests coming to their server from your external IP are banned, so changing your private router-assigned IP won't do squat. (if that's what you were implying) What you're looking for is an HTTP proxy that will redirect your HTTP requests. http://samair.ru/proxy/ is the most extensive list I know of. Some of those proxies won't mask your IP (they'll forward yours as well), so they won't work for ban evasion.
September 10, 200519 yr ya what asterix said, but you could also try "ipconfig /renew" that maybe the cmd command ur thinking of, but that depends on your isp and other stuff weather it will work
September 14, 200519 yr I've got DSL, and a simple reset command or power-off will assign me a new IP. Handy for ventrillo rages, you just keep comin' back.
