its really not hard to get the star everytime, ive beaten the game getting the star every time but like 4 times, and i wasnt even trying. i love that game, my favorite game of all time, playing it is like 2nd nature, i can play it and not even be paying attention...kinda like driving haha.

if you are running at full speed (where you could lift off as raccoon mario, with the twinkling noise) you always get a star card, as long as you are all full speed when you hit it

i think you have to hit the corner too
