The performance modifications aren't obvious because they aren't the types who specialize in stickers, spoilers and body kits. you're looking at system mods like Fuel computers, modified intakes, down pipes shit like that. Easing the stress on the turbos and decreasing the chances of engine explosion since FDs were prone to engine detonation cuz of the turbo. EDIT: A key REー雨宮 mod that is evident in many of their RX-7s is the removal of the popup headlights as seen there. This improves aerodynamics during night races.
