you claim to be a mac user yet your talking about an HP rather ironic

any oem computer manufacturer sucks compared to custom, price wise and performance :nigga:

i kno, i should of got my freind 2 build me a comp, but im fucking retarted so...... :stupid:

HP is one of the worst computer brands out there. I've actually got a Dell, which I bought after dropping about 550 dollars off the price with stackable coupons. I wouldn't dream of purchasing a pre-made computer without major incentive.

It's not hard to build your own. things generally only fit where they're supposed to. As long as everything's compatible, no worries.

hp uses shitty motherboards that have shitty capicators.... look for a leaking capicator and unsolder it and solder in a new one

it will then work like new again

Unless you're a fuckin handy man, just bye a new damn computer if you need all that shit.

I really don't like HP.

1. Only had bad expericences with them.

2. Over priced

3. Gay name, makes you sound stupid/ corporate retard.

there are 3 types of computers...

Computers built by a company for real cheap then they raise the price of it like 500% and sell you a piece of shit comp that blows

Laptops built by a company for real cheap then they raise the price of it like 400% and sell you a piece of shit comp that blows

Or you could just build a comp yourself... make it exactly what you want and save big $$$..

Go to http://www.NewEgg.com for computer parts, they got good prices and good parts

Time or Experience?? i built my first computer when i was in the 6th grade dude... lol its not fucking hard at all... and for the time factor just shop online at newegg... you can find every part fucking ever made there + fast shipping

I have a Hp Pavilion a705w.

One day I left it open for 10 minutes to cool it down. I come back and my motherboard is gone due to static electricity. It sucks playing games and the only sorta good thing about it is the 2.93 Ghz proccesor other than that it blows :snivel:

yeah HP is pretty shitty but so are most computer manufactures, just learn the basics of building a comp then build your own.. plus when building your own comp on newegg u can add extended warenties like 2 extra years for 10$
kamikazi']how the fuck am i incorrect?

NOBODY fucks around with finding identical components and soldering shit onto computer boards, you take it back to HP and get it replaced.

Furthermore, HP buy their capacitors and perhaps their motherboards from 3rd parties, so other companies will be using the same branded components.

Dont try to feed people your condescending im-the-electron-man bullshit, nobody cares.

hp are fucking gay. I have one for almost 2 years. My CD drive broke. Then they sent me an other one, A few weeks later that fuck up. As soon as I get the money, I taking all the shit I update with it out. And tossing the rest is the tash. :dfinger:
kamikazi']ok hp sucks period

END OF THREAD

I still love my HP - (no need to explain why). (:

I have a lamz0r dell 4700 WORST $1200 EVER SPENT.

I now know how to build a comp, and when I save up hopefully I can get a barebone and just be chill.

Really, I got a Dell with 3.2ghz, ati graphic card, 160 gig hd...

only $1032.

It's a Dell Optiplex GX280, I need more RAM though...512 is enough but still lags at times.

when did you get yours? I got mine I think last nov.

pen 4 3.0 ghz

ati radeon x300

80 gig hd

512mb ram

and like sound blaster z2 something shit like that.

with a 17" crt

I got ripped like crazy, but at the time I didn't want to build and I was to lazy to go to a computer store/ or get a friend to put it together. I Wish I would of knew about zuke.com earlier.

:bj: That site has some pretty ok prices. Thinking about getting a barebone there.

I probably think it's the screen that costed you extra, I had an old screen (17" crt as well)

My uncle just did all that at http://www.dell.com, and it came out to that. I didn't get any speakers/headset either because I already have em.

Got it about 4 months ago.
