Today I tried to use mIRC at school, but the connection was blocked by Windows Firewall. I tried to turn it off, but it's been disabled by the network administrator or some shit. Is there anything I can do to get round the firewall? Someone suggested installing Zone Alarm and setting that as the default firewall, then allowing connections to IRC, but I havent tried that yet. Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks in advance

use a java applet instead it prob blocks the default irc port, pm me on irc and ill give you a link to mine

why would you wanna go on IRC in class?????

Because I'd rather go on IRC than sit for an hour and make spreadsheets and databases. I'm sure anyone here would

What the fuck are you doing on MIRC at school, are you really that bored? Do your fucking work and waist time on IRC at home.
