September 28, 200519 yr Yeh single player so fucking rocks on cod, i love the realism overall of weapons ETC (you only pull back bolt when u reloaded cuz of empty magazine) unlike fucking cs you pull out m4a1 it repeatdly pulls back charging handle.... and they still keep old shitty animations from original cs.... I cant wait to play this demo. Yea, the level of realism on CoD is what drew me to it so much. I also liked the sound effects. Fun stuff. The engine in CoD2 doesn't seem to be redone, although there may be subtle new features. I noticed that even though you were locked into the jeep in the begining it didn't drop you off, or have that little hump with the first person mode when it de-tached you from the vehicle. They also redid some of the crouching and prone movements. I guess you couldn't call that a new engine but it still is nice to have subtle updates to an already awesome game.
September 28, 200519 yr Oh yer, the level of realism was awesome i liked how i got shot over 50 times and my health regenerates and i can run back into battle with full health then charge into 30 germans with a thompson and wipe them all out and having time to reload my gun several times while drinking a cup of tea, lovely realism

September 28, 200519 yr Author yeah i didn't like the "you are hurt, get to cover" system. it's ridiculous. what the hell happened to healthpacks? it's not like the bullets fall out of your body and your organs/veins/tissue heals in approx 10 seconds.
September 28, 200519 yr it's supposed to show that adrenaline lets you ignore non-fatal wounds, but if you get hammered too hard then you'll be rwnt over and over till you die. didn't work out very well. maybe playing on realistic will be good.
