Firefox is great for everything but loging in to passworded ftp servers, for that I need to use IE.

use a ftp client not a fucking browser.

i use cuteftp pro.

FF 98% of the time...(ytmnd works fine for me in FF 1.0.7)

YTMND has always worked fine for me in FF, I use FlashFXP for FTP because it's shareware and someone recommended it to me, I don't know or care for any better.

BUT STOP BEING A TROLL K

Aww I think you have a crush on me. That's kinda cute...

But please stop commenting twards me in every thread, it's kinda creepy, and trollish.

You can make ytmnd work on FF. First you have to go into quicktime player and go to edit>preferences>QuickTime Player preferences.

Then you click click the buton that says MIME settings and you check the box that says audio. Problem solved.

Comment: There are many people who know about and have used Firefox but prefer to use IE.

Is thier name r3dbum? And if so, were they dropped off a 2 story building onto thier head?

Go to the YTMND forums, and the Halp! Section. Go into the thread titled along the lines of 'Playing YTMND's on Firefox' (It's a sticky). Then follow the instructions in there. Then YTMND should work.

I stick with IE because of ActiveX. I know how to set it up so that I don't get spyware and other malicious garbage when surfing not-so-trustworthy sites.

Firefox's main perks are its popup blocker and tabbed browsing. IE has since come out with a popup blocker (if you have SP2 like me) that's much more to my preference; you can set it to block every single popup unless you're holding control. Lately when using Firefox, popups still get through (like when watching the "Boom Headshot" video). I love YTMND, and I shouldn't have to fiddle with settings just to look at them.

Tabbed browsing is a useless feature to me. It just adds another click, for example when you're slightly MSpainting and image and throwing it up on imageshack or working with HTML and notepad.

If you know the keyboard shortcuts for each, you can browse quickly and efficiently with each. The only perk Firefox has over IE is that it has Google built right into it, with a brisk CTRL+k. But this is coming with Windows Vista so the advantage will be gone sometime next year.

The biggest thing that keeps me with IE is its aX support. Being a proprietary Microsoft language, Firefox can't support it.

Oh, and for all you ***s on slashdot/sourceforge: NOBODY CARES THAT IT'S OPEN SOURCE Woohoo you can look at the source code. Well I'm a consumer not a programmer, and I have no use for the source code. Crawl back in front of your shitty, grease-infested, worthless Linux box and leave me to my BF2 and forum trolling.
