MSI makes a stable motherboard.

Like shadow said, what processor you have/want? Also do you want to go with dual vid cards at some point? Make these decisions before you choose a board..

My advice is the DFI lanparty SLI. Youve got nforce4, sli, and you can upgrade to athlon64x2 eventually if you want - good to keep upgrade options open.

just built my new computer and its socket 939 with x2 4200+ the motherboard was an asus a8ne which was great had no problems, great instructions, nforce chip. didn't have sli though. any good motherboard is asus or abit
I built my ex a computer with an asus board... Easy to put together. I'm currently running a MSI... Not bad, but when I eventually upgrade, I think I'll go to asus...
