Posted October 3, 200519 yr Ok.. So I got DOD source.. not much different from the regular one.. muddy graphics, thousands of places for someone to hide, near impossible to kill someone. I realized this game was only usefull for raging. Any ideas on how to rage DOD?
October 3, 200519 yr well, if you have any skill, (apparently not as you stated its impossible to kill anyone) you can get into the enemy's spawn and own them when they respawn, great rage. maps you can do this in by yourself (no boosting from other people): dod_anzio (both spawns, 1 method per spawn) dod_avalanche (both spawns, 1 method for Allies, 2 methods for axis) dod_flash (both spawns, easy as fuck) dod_donner (no spawns without boosting)
October 3, 200519 yr Author DOD source is almost identical to the old one. Get over the hype. What's improved? Your body flys a bit when a rocket hits you?.. now that's going to improve gameplay.

October 3, 200519 yr I personaly think DoD:s i much better that old DoD Nothing beats tk:ing 15 players in spawn with mg42 :dfinger: Played some with a friend today, it was on a FF off server and we played as allies on anzio, we had great fun with blocking, we had one blocking the left exit and one blocking the center exit, great fun due to the fact that if you block the center exit the players that went over the sandbags are traped. For some reason the axis won with 11 - 0 that round.

October 4, 200519 yr spawn rape is the best way to rage dods, if they have any of those worthless anti tk scripts with mani mod, just edge people on until they tk you...( for example shoot them with the pistol a few times) They will usually kill you soon after, punish them by turning them into a timebomb, and watch them wipe out your entire team when they explode, and as a direct result you lose the round and EVERYONE is raged
