December 24, 200321 yr IF YOU LIKE LEVEL GRINDING FOR NO REAL REASON THEN IT'S EXCELLENT. Level grind won't be as bad when they add pvp.
December 24, 200321 yr Author Im still enjoying FFXi. I got a lvl 12 Ranger, 30 monk, 15 warrior. Ranger is pretty sweet, once you sttop missing so fucking much, you hit hard.

December 24, 200321 yr The level grind isn't so bad in FFXI, not nearly as bad as in EQ. Only bad part is you're forced to group to level at all after 15 unless you're a RDM/WAR. 18DRK, 30WAR, 11MNK
December 24, 200321 yr Author Your not forced to group. Just the downtime solo is so much, it slows down the game and takes forever to level. I'd say you can solo fine to lvl 20 if your a warrior or monk, as I did. Soloing is actually pretty good with some Jobs such as Beastmaster.
December 26, 200321 yr BST is built for soloing, RDM is the only viable job that I have seen that can solo efficiently post level 20.
