I've shaved bald a few times. Didn't get any itchiness or rash. Usually I trim it to a millimetre, it feels great when your get your nuts licked, then sensations ends tingles up my spine.

Try trimming them to 1 mm, then smearing chocolate sauce on your balls, and let the dog lick it off.
