Bush bashing is annoying as hell, because the fact of the matter is he is still probobly a better decision maker than any single one of you, and had he not been qualified for the position he would not have been nominated, let alone elected and re-elected in the first place. Now let us say that you are the president. Let us also say that according to your intelligence, some country has a weapon that is a threat to the safety of our fair nation. Now this intelligence would prove earlier evidence that was thought to be rumor on this subject. Let's say after recieving this intelligence you decide to do nothing with it, feel it isn't a threat, don't follow up into it. Two years from now this country attacks our country with this weapon. Would the people not blame you for the disaster? After all, you were let known the situation beforehand. I'm not saying that I like Bush, I agree with him some and disagree with him some. The fact of the matter is, if Iraq would have had the weapons and we would have not done anything about it and we were attacked, he would have been criticized every bit as much as he is now. The main objective was to promote the security of our nation, and not to get ahold of Iraq's oil. The only basis you people have to your claims is what the media tells you. The media is biased if you don't already know. MSNBC, CNN, etc. are all biased. So rather than saying what someone else thinks, think things through yourself. Come up with your own ideas rather than just deciding "oh yeah this person's opinion is good enough for me." It disgusts me to see that people just see Bush as a war hawk. Honestly, what would you have done?

But the reason Bush wanted this clusterfuck operation was because of the non-existing weapons of mass destruction which were never found. Over 2000 americans died in that shitty war because of weapons that weren't there. And I wouldn't really say this war made the world safer. In fact, I think it poored oil on the fire (ZOMG!!!! did I say oil????) and it made terrorism worse. And now, the country is still in chaos. I don't agree with the French neither: I mean these idiots boycotted the US. If they disagree with that war, they should have left the US go to Iraq alone. But they shouldn't have tried to actually boycott them. On a final note: fuck Bush.

What I was saying is that it didn't make the world safer like Bush wants us to believe. The war was good for freeing the people (I already mentioned that), but it sucked because it made terrorism worse, and because Bush simply lied about the weapons. That being said, the war is on now, and I think other countries should help finishing it as quickly as possible. Not military help... hell, I wouldn't want my country to send soldiers to that shithole, but medical and humanitarian help.
