Go to start> settings> control panel> display> settings> advanced> troubelshooting> set it to none> click apply > then click ok> open windows media player> tools> options> performance> advanced> uncheck use overlays. If you ever wanted to know... :naughty:
October 7, 200519 yr damn, try and screenshot a movie without this lol, Its infuckingpossible (with media player that is) I had a bunch of wierd ass things, like... when i took the screenshot, then psted into photoshop the movie part was there.... but it didnt move when you moved the window around, it was as if Photoshop had a transparent part where media player showed through, as when you minimized or closed media player, it would just be black, its crazy. But I just use image ready now.
October 7, 200519 yr Haha, I used to wonder why when I tried screen capturing streaming video, that it didn't work and I ended up with nothing... Was too lazy to figure it out, so thanks for doing it for me.
October 8, 200519 yr this is how you get it to work for all video players: Right click on destop Properties Settings Advanced Troubleshoot Hardware Acceleration -> None OK Just set Hardware Acceleration back to full when done, unless you want games, or anything else that uses your videocard to run like ass. The reason this happens is the printscreen key only captures the information that is processed by the CPU, but video is processed by the GPU on most modern computers, so print screen does not work. Same reason why you can't screenshot games (without either Fraps, or if they coded it to work of course)
October 8, 200519 yr Heh, I was pissed that I couldnt screen shot shit from movies so when I found it out I knew loads of other people would use it so yeah..
