Since I no longer am able to play multiplayer games over the internet because of my internet connection, I'm thinking about getting a cheap laptop and, to save the extra $150, get it without an OS. I'm a teenager so price is a big issue. I'm going to put Mandrake Linux on it, since it's free but I'm not familiar with Linux yet.

I have a NETGEAR Wireless router (here) but I'm not sure if the wireless card that uses it's "108 MBps feature" (here ) will work with Linux (I've used them before and the driver program is a Windows program.

Anyone suggest a good wireless PCMCIA 802.11G card that works with Linux?
