Kids are getting older, so part of why I haven't been around is I been running my ass off...now have two cub scouts and a girl scout in the house, two soccer players, a football player, all three swimming on a team, piano lessons, guitar lessons, all three into laser tag, one playing airsoft (none old enough to be allowed on paintball fields by their mother yet)...

 

Plus I'm in my last two semesters for my degree, finishing up the community service ends of my last bust for being an aggressive asshole, and so on.

 

 

I'm being run so ragged by my little shits that I'm starting to wish the eldest would hurry up and get old enough to get his liscense...almost worth $3200 a year in insurance and buying a crap car so I can delegate some of the runabout to him <grin>.

 

 

 

On the plus side, my eldest (9, almost 10) has started deliberately raging people in CS and CSS (for the same reasons I do it, no less..."Jeeze, Dad, this guy's 6 years older than me, and *I* can tell he's dumb...you gonna get mad if I try to make him cry?" ), all three are doing well in school, etcetera :)

Can't say it's making life easier (for them, OR for me and their mother), but it works out so as to make life easier for everyone around them...which, if my own experiences, and those of my old man, are any indication, puts you in a position where "everyone in the company KNOWS what a total asshole you are", but the company management ALSO knows they can't afford to be without you...it made my old man rich, and didn't do badly by me :) Hoping it does even better for my rugrats.
