Well yea that would be possible but my budget is 450 euro's and with this setup i won't have to change my motherboard plus it saves me time constucting it.

EDIT

I just noticed my current mobo is Socket A and not Socket 754

So here's the setup i'm thinking of buying:

Mobo:

GigaByte K8NSC-939 (Retail, sound, Gb-LAN, RAID) € 79,-

Processor:

Athlon64 3200+ (2.0 GHz) € 139,-

Memory: (on top of my 512MB Ram)

Kingston DIMM 512 MB (Retail, SD133-X64-C3) € 89,-

Power supply:

Q-Tec 13263 Low Noise (Retail) € 22,-

Graph Card:

Asus V9999/TD (Retail, DVI, TV-Out) (6800) € 129,-

Will this last me for 2 years?

i think the videocard would last. It has pixelshader 3.0 and that would make it compatible with new games. My trusty shitty old geforce fx 5200 still works with new games... runs shitty but works. that's kinda my goal that it would be able to run those games.

Don't get the Q-tech psu. Industry standard, they suck. Go for a Antec Neo.

Plus, Get the AMD 64 Venice 3.8+ OEM, mine cost about the same as your 3.2+

You will need to add a HS+F onto that too.
