October 17, 200519 yr You can also try http://www.last.fm I use it and its a pretty neat service that you can get for absolutly free. It will play music depending on what you play through winamp. So lets say if you play a bunch of deathmetal (yuck) then when you boot up the last.fm player it'll play deathmetal music that it thinks you'd like to hear.

I am using the plugin that sends in names of music that I play, but in this last .fm player it just asks me to put in a band/song to find similar songs, which is exactly like pandora.

Whatever you play it'll configure in charts. For similar bands you can check what others reccomend or what people who listen to a certain band also listen to. Just cruise around and you'll get the hang of everything. Ive never used the players though.
