I work as a carpenter/ auto mechanic assistant (rarely) / and sometimes part time pizza delivery boy. Only carpentry pays well but i enjoy everything. I know having three jobs sounds weird but thats how we do it in Italy.

I hear that! Same. I do have a temp job but it fucking sucks. It only pays 9.00 per hour. It's bullshit.

Man, at least you have a job. I'd fuckin' work for $9.00 per DAY (Yeah, I'm Mexican like that.). Damn. But yeah, any ideas for a decent job? I mean, like...Right off the top of your head.

I work for a construction company. My grandad owns the company but he only pays me the basic laborers salary of $9 an hour. Kinda shitty if you ask me. I guess its alright though. I bust my balls out there and im family so I could climb the ladder fast if I wanted. Im not really lookin to make a career out of it, just want some cash till I start college, only 20 right now. I started about six months ago and im already gettin buffed up and tan, plus it feels good to work and sweat, get all those toxins and shit out of your body. I kinda hate it and love it at the same time. Im gonna keep working there till im so sick of it that school will seem like a vacation to me. I figure work is work no matter what your doing so might as well stick with this and get in good shape.

I needed work, and needed it fast, and permanently so I could pay rent, bills, food etc and pay for my gf who was apending all her money to come live with me when I was 18.

I walked into a bunch of restaurants and told them I needed work, any work as soon as possible. I offered to work for $5 an hour 'under the table' (not giving head- under the table means you get paid under the table, ie: out of view of the tax-man). Within a day of walking the streets, I had arranged three part time jobs totalling 50 hours a week at $5 an hour. Serving tables, cleaning, dishes, helping the chefs etc.... It was shit money for the hours I was doing, but I worked my guts out and I got the money.

Eventually, one of the restaurants said 'Hey man, you're doing good here. You want to make your hours full-time and legal? You'll lose the tax out of your wages, but you'll have a fulltime job and a couple of bucks a week more money. Then we don't have to worry about you not turning up someday and the tax department finding out about you."

I took it, and changed my hours at another place to weekend work only, just the busy shifts. Over the next few months I learned everything I could about how to work in and run a restaurant, including how to cook/prepare half the meals. I got a free meal for every shift I did (every four hours) plus the food I munched when the boss wasn't watching. In 6 months I went from needing a job to 2nd chef in a hotel a'la carte cafe. In another 3 months I was breakfast chef, and after a year in the industry I was head chef for a restaurant in a nightclub, getting cheap/free beers and spirits, free meals, meeting loads of women and other stuff.

I was a chef for five years and I fucking hated it, but it was a job you can pick up almost immediately when you needed to. Give it a shot, you'll appreciate the value of a good education after a year scrubbing dishes for pennies.

Excellent advice, man, and not far different from how I ended up where I am, but the frantic job search started when I took early seperation from the Army.

I always suggest getting into the auto game, because it takes no degree to get into, and excell at, but takes massive willpower and willingness to be on the lot 70+ hours a week...if you're good, the money rocks, if you're not, it makes you REALLY appreciate landing a decent job for stable pay.

aircraft maintenance engineer for 747, 767 and other operators.

p.s. dont ever fly with JAL or any chinese airlines

i work at a heating oil refinery filling up oil tankers from a little room with lots of buttons and a shitty computer
I work the trap nigga

I like when dickweeds like this try to be "funny" when the aren't. Sorry man, but you're a douche.

I teach c# at a private high school on sundays (from 6am to 3pm) and make around 8000$/week (takes up alot of time during the rest of the week, atleast 5-6 hours everyday)

The age of the students usually goes from 15-18 and it's intermediate/advanced...talented bastards

I was in all the advanced groups at GCSE.:wow:

Im a trader, I spread trade the S&P vs other markets, Nasdaq-Russell-Dow. If I make $1000 a nite its a great nite but avg 300-500 a nite. Id make more but I spend most of the nite playing CSS or some other shit game and smoking while trading and miss alot of trades because of it. If I make my money early enough I go to the bar where a friend works and drink the rest of the nite for 20bucks. Its an ok life, im getting by :)
