Posted October 18, 200519 yr http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v321/DIlly_Dawg/Fun002.jpg NJROTC? Uh, I'm in the US Merchant Marine Academy where I'm currently testing for a Naval flight slot. Notice I have no naval insignia on those... it's stealth mode. BULLSHIT. Merchant Marine has NOTHING to do with military service. The Merchant Marine is the organizations that controls COMMERCIAL sailors based in the US...they run the tests for ratings, etcetera, for the people who work on commecial ships flying the US flag...so if a guy is an "able bodied seaman" rating on a ship with a name like "The S.S. Anorak" cargo ship, he's a merchant marine. There IS no "Merchant Marine Acadamy"Naval flights are all Coast Guard or Navy, in the U.S., USMC pilots are land-based, not carrier based. You ALSO do not have the service ribbon which MUST be worn over the left breast pocket in Navy Undress uniform, which is what that uniform is. As such, you have NOT completed basic training, nor have you been in for over a year without going through basic training, because if either had been done, you'd have the Navy Service Ribbon, and be REQUIRED to wear it with the Undress uniform. On top of that, not only do you not have navy insignia on the uniform (something all Naval personell who have been awarded the Navy Service Ribbon MUST have on their uniform), but you ALSO have no rank insignia on, which means that you're a "buck" seaman, as even ROTC members and JROTC members get "cadet rank" which must be worn while in uniformYou're enrolled in NO military college, as all four schools require their "plebes" (first year students) have completed basic training before attending in the fall...most attend over the summer before their plebe year starts..thus you would have rank insignia, naval insignia, AND the Navy Service ribbon on that uniform if you had. Summary: In that picture, you were either "dressing up" as a Navy boy, or you were in the uniform for ROTC or JrROTC having JUST JOINED, or POSSIBLY were in uniform having joined the Navy reserves, but NOT having gone to basic training yet, as if you had already entered basic training, and been issued that uniform as part of your enlistment gearing, you'd have had the Naval insignia AT LEAST on the uniform, and probably the service ribbon (the Army made me wear mine on the mid-OSUT pass they gave us, as we'd passed the "basic training" portion in the first 8 weeks, before being allowed out on pass at all...Navy basic Trainign is ALSO only 8 weeks, AIT is much longer, and MAY be done as one lump sum, but you're REQUIRED to wear that Service Ribbon and the Insignia as part of the uniform from the day you complete that 8 week "Basic" course, and are NOT given passes or leaves before finishing it). You're full of shit mate, and you been caught.
October 18, 200519 yr this is the kind of rwnage i miss again, great to have you back, the forums shall be cleansed in no time lol
October 18, 200519 yr Author LOL he said the merchant marines were army? What a fucking dumbass. Navy, actually, is what he claimed. or rather, that he was in the "Merchant Marine acadamy" and "waiting for a Naval flight slot" for training. One doesn't exist, and therefore the other CAN not exist.

This guy is a dumbass. What does he want to fight? Pirates?
October 19, 200519 yr You also forgot they don't let pussies into the Navy. you are Incorrect . There are a lot of Pussies in the navy (male and the obvious Females)
October 19, 200519 yr Fun that he didn't react to this thread yet. He's probably shoving another bag of ships down his throat and crying in the corner because he got al capowned on an internet forum. All fat fuck nerds do that.

You're full of shit mate, and you been caught. Well, I just finished four years of the US Navy, and I don't know what the hell he's talking about being a Merchant Marine, but that uniform is the US Navy "Working Whites" I'm guessing this was at his "A" school, or he might be undesignated. E-1 has no patch. But I can't see the top of the shoulders good, perhaps it's ROTC of some sort or maybe he's just a really young looking junior officer, but I highly doubt that.:ughwerd: you are Incorrect . There are a lot of Pussies in the navy (male and the obvious Females) Quoted for truth. BTW real men don't need pictures next to hooters girls, the just go out and get laid all the time.
October 20, 200519 yr Author That's what I was saying about being a "buck", chozo. And I dunno about Navy, but Army and Marines promote you to E-2 automatically after 6 months in. Navy Undress ("working whites") still requires Naval insignia and service ribbon be worn, just like Army "Class B", as well as rank insignia, asuming the rank is above E-1 And since potential pilots are all officers, he'd not be an E-1, would he? You have to be E-3 minimum to attend OCS (E-3 is automatically granted to any enlistee with an associate's degree or above, BTW, regardless of whether or not they've attended OCS, or otherwise gone through officer's candidacy courses like ROTC or Annapolis...I checked with local recruiters today, to verify that this is still the practice) Translation, the guy's a lying ass, and got caught at it. Further, he doesn't know shit about the Navy yet, assuming he DID actually enlist in the Navy, and is not playing "dress up".
October 20, 200519 yr Why would you try to lie about shit like that? A lesson to all peeps don't lie about shit or psychobud will pick you out and cut you up.

Oh, and you do get a weekend after bootcamp, assuming this hooters is in Chicago near Great Lakes it would be the best explanation. Also I don't really know much about the O-ranks, Enlisted man myself. I vote that it's not him, but the pic is of an E-1 undesignated sailor. We should find out where that hooters is... EDIT On further inspection is his belt buckle gold???? I mean... wouldn't be the first time some jackass wore his uniform wrong or was just "a jacked up shipwreck". Hmmmm.....
October 20, 200519 yr Author I didn't even notice the brass belt buckle. Army and Marines wear the brass buckle if in any uniform BUT the BDU "cammies".
October 23, 200519 yr wow i thought people grew out of lying about this sorta shit of being better than other people in like primary school.
