Posted October 21, 200519 yr There is alot of flak bouncing around about the Audigy's being responsible for in-game stutters. I just did a system wipe, and I dunno what to do regarding my audigy 2. Should I install the stock drivers (which come with nifty utilities), then update them? Install just the updated drivers (no nifty utilities) or Take a shit on my audigy and use onboard? I just got FEAR and want it to run well.
October 21, 200519 yr Do you want the nifty utilities? Are they useful to you? I imagine you could install stock without the utilities, and visa versa. Get the updated drivers regardless. If you want the audigy equalizer, sound distortions, etc., install them seperately.
